About us
Confidence is a skill. We teach it like one.
Atlantic Speech is a live online public speaking program for students aged 11 to 19. We believe the ability to stand up and speak well is one of the most useful things a young person can learn, and that it is trainable, not a gift some students happen to have. So we teach it the way any skill is taught: in small groups, with real practice every week and honest feedback after every session.
Why we exist
Most students are never taught how to speak.
They are asked to give presentations and told to be confident, but nobody shows them how. The nerves, the structure, the delivery: these are learnable, and they change fast when a student practices them with a coach who knows what good looks like.
A student who can speak well carries it everywhere: the classroom, the interview, the competition stage, the first job. That is what we are building, one first speech at a time.

What we hold to
Students speak every week
Small, capped classes mean everyone is on their feet in every session. You do not learn to speak by watching someone else do it.
Feedback over grades
Every student leaves each class with one specific thing to work on next, from a coach who watched them, not from a rubric.
Coaches who have done it
Our coaches have competed and won at a high level of speech and debate. Students learn craft from people who have lived it.
The team
Coached by champion speakers.
Our coaches come from the Oxford Union, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Brown, and LSE, with world and national championship results between them. Atlantic Speech is part of the Atlantic education family, alongside Atlantic Ivy college admissions consulting.
