Admissions & Scholarship Interviews

Walk in composed, walk out remembered

An admissions or scholarship interview is a speaking event with a scoreboard. The students who do well are rarely the most polished; they are the ones who have already said their answers out loud, know the story they are there to tell, and can take a curveball without rambling. We prepare students with mock interviews built from the questions their interview actually uses, direct feedback, and repetition until composure is the default. This is the occasion our Interview & Presentation program was built for.

What the coaching works on

What actually decides it

The story of you

Shaping honest, specific answers about who the student is, so the interview has a spine instead of a scatter of achievements

The questions that decide it

Why this school, tell me about yourself, a time you failed: prepared without sounding rehearsed

Curveball composure

A method for the question the student did not prepare, which every good interviewer asks on purpose

Mock interviews with a second run

Realistic full interviews with feedback, then again, so the student feels the improvement before the real one

The plan

How we use the time

Session 1

Map the interview

The coach learns the school or scholarship, the format, and the student, then they build the answer map together.

Middle sessions

Mock and refine

Full mock interviews with direct feedback on content and delivery, tightening the answers that ramble and warming up the ones that sound canned.

Final days

The composed run

A last mock at full realism, plus the practical layer: what to wear on camera, how to open, and how to close with a question worth asking.

Parents ask us

The interview is in ten days. Can you help in time?

Usually, yes. Two or three 1-on-1 sessions with a mock interview in each can change an interview meaningfully. Contact us with the date and we will tell you honestly what the time allows.

Will the answers end up sounding scripted?

That is the failure mode we coach against hardest. Students prepare answer shapes and stories, never scripts, and the mock interviews vary the questions so the student practices adapting rather than reciting.

Do you know what specific schools ask?

Our coaches have been through competitive admissions themselves, including Ivy League and Oxbridge processes, and prep is built from the formats and question styles the student’s interview actually uses.

Tell us the date. We will map the rest.
